For centuries, sailors have noticed that a strange force appears to always attract ships to eachother when floating nearby one another on the water. How can this strange phenomenon be explained? Many physicists believe it to be a large scale result of the Casimir Effect. The Casimir effect is a strange force of attraction seen between two surfaces separated by empty space.
