A Modern day Pirate story

Pirates are no match for the U.S. Navy
Whenever you think of pirates, you most likely envision characters like Capt. Jack Sparrow from the popular “Pirates of the Caribbean” film who sailed the seven seas hundreds of years ago. But they can still be found on the high seas off the coast of East Africa. The only difference is that now they look nothing like Capt. Jack and they use RPGs and AK-47s instead of cannons and swords to pounce on their prey.
That’s when it comes in handy to have the U.S. Navy around. They don’t bother with small arms fire in close combat. They use the latest high-tech weapons available and take down suspected pirates immediately. Pirates fire an RPG or machine gun at a U.S Navy missile boat (not very wise, these pirates) and the U.S. returns fire with guided missiles and a 5 in. gun that can sink your sad little boat almost 15 miles away. There is not much hand-to-hand buccaneer combat here.
